Cardiff City defender Rhys Weston fears he has played his last game at Ninian Park.
Defender Rhys Weston fears he has played his last game for Cardiff City.
The ex-Arsenal man moved to Ninian Park in November 2000, but after five-and-a-half years at the club he now fears his days under boss Dave Jones are numbered.
The 25-year-old Wales international still has a year left on his Bluebirds contract, but the signing of defender Glenn Loovens has led him to question his future.
"It's safe to say that things are bleak for me at the club," Weston commented.
"The manager has a job to do in a cut-throat business and I realise he has to make decisions.
"All I know is that I have a starting date for pre-season training and I'll be there unless told otherwise.
"But any move away from Cardiff has to be right for the club and me."
Two points from The Bluebird's last seven games saw Championship promotion slip from their grasp this season, and they finished 11th in the table.
