Charlie Miller is hopeful of earning a contract at Cardiff City after having his trial extended.
The former Rangers midfielder has been training with Cardiff this week after expressing a desire to leave Norwegian side Brann.
He will head back to Ninian Park after the club's Championship game at Hull City and aims to convince Dave Jones to give him a deal.
"I am enjoying myself here and the signals I have got are positive," Miller told ibergen.no.
"We will see what happens next week. It would be nice to get a deal with them.
"I know I have got much to add.
"I have only had one session with the first team, you can say that the spell has not lived up to expectations.
"We have agreed that I shall return after the match this weekend. It's difficult to make a decision going by this week and I understand that."
