Cardiff City boss Dave Jones admits he may have to dip into the loan market to add numbers to his squad.
The Bluebirds lost a further two players on Friday as Joe Ledley and Kevin McNaughton suffered serious looking injuries in the 2-0 win over Barnsley.
Ledley limped off with a leg injury while McNaughton was left unconscious after landing on his head, with both left-backs taken to hospital.
Cardiff are already without the services of Ricardo Scimeca and Darren Purse, leaving Jones with a thin squad to work with.
"We now have four players out and I may have to go to my chairman and ask for some money to sign one or two loan players," Jones said.
Jones confirmed that they received good news on McNaughton's status as the Scottish international was not as badly injured as first feared.
He added: "There was a lot of concern in the dressing room at half-time for Kevin but thankfully he didn't have to stay in hospital."
