The Bluebirds have gone 400 minutes without finding the target after suffering a 1-0 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday.
The result saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side remain second from bottom in the table with 22 points from 28 matches.
Next up for Cardiff is a clash against bottom side Fulham at home on Saturday, and Turner believes that a goal in that match could just about kick-start their season.
"We need something to light us up," the Daily Star quotes the 26-year-old as saying.
"If that is a one-yard tap-in from a knock-down, then so be it. We have to make it happen.
"Everyone has to try and make it happen, whether that be defenders going up for free-kicks. Someone has to get on the end of something to spark us off."
Turner added on their defeat at Spurs: "The whole side is disappointed. We missed a chance from point-blank range and we had balls going across the goal in the second half.
"It happened really quickly. It just hit his head and it hit the bar. He (Steven Caulker) was so close to the goal. It's those things that are not quite going for us at the moment.
"It has not happened for us again and we are still looking for a turning point this season. We are not out of it yet and we will keep on working hard.
"It has to be a concern for us. We need clean sheets and we also need goals. Hopefully once we get one then more will follow.
"We are struggling for goals at the moment but everyone is working hard on it. There is a lot of belief that we will score."
