Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall is ignoring transfer speculation as he focuses on a Premier League survival bid.
The Scotland international has been with the Bluebirds since 2009, but the current campaign has offered him a first taste of life in the Premier League.
The former Celtic and Norwich City shot-stopper has been a beacon of reliability throughout a testing season in south Wales which has been clouded by inconsistency.
His efforts have not gone unnoticed either, with reports suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur will come calling this summer if Hugo Lloris leaves White Hart Lane in search of Champions League football.
Marshall has seen the stories and heard the rumours but maintains that he is reading little into them and will continue to give his all to the Cardiff cause – as they sit three points adrift of safety – until told otherwise.
The 29-year-old told Wales Online: “I am desperate right now to try to help keep this club in the Premier League.
“At this moment in time my personal career does not really come into it. I am going to be judged over these last games now.
“That’s me, all the other players and the club as a whole.
“I will be concentrating now on keeping Cardiff up. We’ve got a huge game coming up against Crystal Palace.

On a crucial contest with Palace on Saturday, which comes on the back of a dramatic 3-3 draw with West Bromwich Albion, Marshall added: “We’ve spoken about the game and the Palace game is one we will be looking at winning.
“Against West Brom we spoke about winning that, but in the end the way we got the draw has to be looked upon as a positive.
“Of course Palace will be buoyant coming to our place. Beating Chelsea was a great win for them.
“Palace don’t lose a lot of goals and they deserved to beat someone like Chelsea at home.
“To beat someone going for the title is a massive result for them and they will be looking to come and beat us.
“They will be thinking if they can beat us then they will be pretty much safe. It’s going to be a big game.”
