Osei-Kuffour agrees Gulls terms

TORQUAY UNITED have completed a deal to keep former Arsenal trainee Jo Osei-Kuffour at Plainmoor until the end of the current season.

The 20-year-old has impressed during his time with the Gulls after being released in the summer following just one year as a professional at Highbury.

Torquay head coach, former Leroy Rosenior expressed his delight at capturing Osei-Kuffour on a longer-term deal.

"He's played in different positions for us and has done a good job," said the former West Ham striker.

"He's only a young lad and he's a different type₻ someone who can go past players in tight areas.

Torquay have also moved to take Plymouth Argyle, Kevin Wills, midfielder on a month's loan.

Wills has failed to make an impact at Home Park this season, and is hoping to find regular first-team action at Plainmoor.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Jamie Attwell has agreed to end contract termination talks with The Gulls and stay on with he club for the moment. 

However, the custodian is keen to find a loan move away from the Devon club in order to get more playing time.

Ryan Ashington will also stay with the Plainmor outfit until his contract is served out in December and is also actively seeking a move away from Torquay.
