Buzsaky confident of survival

Akos Buzsaky is confident Plymouth Argyle can avoid the drop.

Plymouth Argyle's Hungarian midfielder Akos Buzsaky is confident his side can avoid the drop.

The Pilgrims' form has tailed off come the New Year, forcing them to look over their shoulder.

However, they are now back on song, particularly at Home Park - including Saturday's win over Brighton - and have now pulled away from the bottom three.

Buzsaky, who is seeking a permanent move to the South Coast from Porto, strongly believes the club will be safe come May.

"Next week we go to Sunderland, another big team," he said to the Western Morning Press. "It will be difficult to win points.

"For us, the most important games are the games against teams who are near us in The Championship.

"The games against Brighton, Cardiff, Nottingham, Coventry and Leicester, these are big games. I'm very, very optimistic."
