Plymouth youngster Dan Gosling has been handed a two-and-a-half year contract.
Plymouth youngster Dan Gosling has been handed a two-and-a-half year professional contract at Home Park.
Gosling, 17, became one of the youngest players ever to represent the Pilgrims when he made his first-team debut as a substitute against Hull in December. He then went on to make his first start for the club against Southampton on New Year's Day.
He has been involved with the first team squad ever since and is set to play a part in Plymouth's Championship clash with Wolves on Saturday.
Boss Ian Holloway said: "It's the first rung on the ladder that we hope he will climb all the way to the top.
"If he keeps working hard, he has got a real chance of being a Premiership player.
"I am really looking forward to working with him and helping him get there - but he's done nothing yet."
