Ollie acts as loan arranger

Plymouth's Ian Holloway is ready to send Ryan Dickson and Nick Chadwick on loan.

Plymouth boss Ian Holloway is ready to send Ryan Dickson and Nick Chadwick out on loan as they bid to prove their fitness.

Left winger Dickson, 20, was on loan with Torquay earlier this year, but was forced to return to Plymouth for treatment when he suffered a hernia.

However, he has now recovered and Holloway believes a return to The Gulls is the best course of action.

"Ryan is telling me he is fully fit and he wants to go out," he said. "I've suggested he rings up Torquay to see if they want him again, because that's just down the road."

And former Everton striker Chadwick, 24, is eager to return to action after four months on the sidelines with a groin strain, but Holloway is unsure as yet whether he will be spending any time away from the club.

"Nick is trying to prove he is fit and it might benefit him if someone wants him on loan, but I've got to talk to him and our physiotherapist Paul Maxwell first.

"Nick's back in full training, but I've got to be careful how many players I let go because we have got four games in 10 days coming up after the (international) break."
