Plymouth midfielder Dan Gosling is facing a fitness race for Saturday's Championship clash at Ipswich.
The 17-year-old sustained a hip injury in England Under-17s 1-0 win over Azerbaijan in Bosnia and has been forced to miss Wednesday night's third and final Elite Qualifying Group game for next year's European Championships against Serbia and Montenegro.
Gosling made his debut for England Under-17s at right-back in their 5-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina last Friday.
Plymouth manager Ian Holloway said: "I am very pleased for him - some people wait their whole life to play for their countries and it's happened to him as a 17-year-old."
