Long-serving goalkeeper hoping to stay at Plymouth

Plymouth Argyle's long-serving goalkeeper Romain Larrieu has signalled his intent to remain with the club beyond this season. The French keeper has been with the League Two outfit since late 2000 and recently celebrated his time at the club with a testimonial against Premier League newcomers QPR. However, with the 34-year-old out of contract at the end of this season, the fans' favourite says he would love to finish his career with the Pilgrims. "I'm contracted for this season and beyond that I'm not really sure what the future holds, but if they still want me then I'd be happy to carry on," Larrieu told skysports.com. "I'll be 35 in two or three months, so as a goalie I'm still in my prime and I feel fit enough to carry on for a good few years yet. "I'll take it day by day, as I have done since the beginning of my career, but as long as I'm feeling good then I will be keen to keep playing."
