Plymouth Argyle manager Carl Fletcher said he was disappointed to leave Bradford empty-handed after their 1-0 loss at Valley Parade.
Tuesday night's League Two match was marred by a serious injury to the Bantams' on-loan central defender John Egan, who was stretchered off with a broken right leg in the 12th minute when he fell awkwardly after heading the ball. Fletcher said: "I am disappointed we didn't get anything out of the match - the lads worked their socks off. "We knew they would come at us, but we stuck to our task. "The ball bobbled around for their goal and their lad stuck it away. We played a lot better in the second half, we had the two best chances and could have scored an equaliser. "In (James) Hanson and (Nahki) Wells, Bradford have arguably the best two front players in this division and they have got some good experienced players in other areas, but we worked hard."
