Who were the best Premier League players from the weekend games? We take a look at the man-of-the-match performances in our hotlist.

The latest round of Premier League fixtures saw champions Leicester respond to Claudio Ranieri's sacking - and their critics - with a resounding victory over Liverpool.

Cesc Fabregas was the star at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea swept Swansea aside to continue their charge to the title, while a Harry Kane-inspired Tottenham remained on the Blues' coattails with a thumping victory over Stoke.

But which other players stood out? Read on to remind yourself of the standout displays - and let us know who you think deserves the plaudits by leaving a comment or tweeting us @SkyFootball...

Cesc Fabregas (CHELSEA 3-1 Swansea)

A rare Premier League start under Antonio Conte was his 300th in the competition, and the Spaniard's class in possession can still dictate a game almost 13 years on from his first. There was an ambition in his running, too, which on another day might have brought a hat-trick.

Wilfried Zaha (CRYSTAL PALACE 1-0 Middlesbrough)

As Crystal Palace picked up a much-needed victory, the performance was perhaps epitomised by the contributions of Wilfried Zaha as he looked ready to fight for three points from the first whistle. He looked at his pacey best, bursting up and down the wings and giving Daniel Ayala and his defending team-mates all manner of headaches and came close to winning at least one penalty for his side.

Zaha also had a small hand in the build-up to the winning goal, with Sam Allardyce surely hoping his playmaker can continue to show the same levels of performance as the Eagles look to steer clear of the drop.

Idrissa Gueye (EVERTON 2-0 Sunderland)

Romelu Lukaku might have equalled Everton's Premier League scoring record, but it was the midfield duo of Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gueye who stood out for the hosts against Sunderland. Gueye opened the scoring in the 40th minute, firing home from around the penalty spot to score his first Premier League goal in 55 appearances.

And along with Schneiderlin, he helped Everton largely control the game and prevent Sunderland from creating many clear chances. Schneiderlin had the most passes of any player on the pitch (96) and the highest passing accuracy of any of the players who started the game (90.6 per cent). But it was Gueye, with four interceptions, five tackles and the opening goal, who shaded the man-of-the-match award.

Harry Maguire (HULL 1-1 Burnley)

Hull defender Harry Maguire produced a man-of-the-match display against Burnley on Saturday. The centre-back, who has impressed many with his solid performances under new boss Marco Silva, stifled Burnley's front two of Andre Gray and Ashley Barnes.

The Clarets struggled to create clear-cut chances at the KCOM Stadium and it was Maguire who pressured Michael Keane into handling the ball for Hull's penalty in the second-half. The 23-year-old was subjected to a late challenge from George Boyd shortly after the break but was able to continue playing as he helped secure his side a vital point as they continue their fight against relegation.

Jake Livermore (WEST BROM 2-1 Bournemouth)

Livermore has settled in well at The Hawthorns since his January switch from Hull. He has impressed with a number of excellent performances and is yet to taste defeat in a West Brom shirt. The 27-year-old put in another all-action display at the heart of West Brom's midfield on Saturday. He was tasked with keeping a close on Bournemouth midfielder Jack Wilshere and he kept the England international relatively quiet before he was replaced in the 66th minute.

Manuel Lanzini (Watford 1-1 WEST HAM)

In tandem with the impressive Michail Antonio, Manuel Lanzini's craft and trickery hauled West Ham into contention after being overrun in the first half of Saturday's draw at Watford. The Hornets dominated the opening period at Vicarage Road as West Ham's inconsistencies looked to rear their head once more. But the Argentine was influential in the Hammers' revival, creating a host of chances to swing the game in the visitors' favour before Andre Ayew snatched a point.

Harry Kane (TOTTENHAM 4-0 Stoke)

Has Harry Kane ever had a more perfect first half of football than he did on Sunday? The Spurs striker scored three goals in 37 minutes before assisting the fourth for Dele Alli after some sublime skill to see Tottenham win their eighth consecutive home game in the Premier League.

It certainly shook off the cobwebs from Thursday's disappointing exit to Gent in the Europa League - during which Kane scored an own goal - and notched up his third hat-trick in nine games as well as his 100th club goal and went level with Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku as the joint leading goal scorers in the Premier League. With the Premier League man-of-the-match award to boot, it was a fantastic day at the office for Kane who will be feeling confident of retaining his Golden Boot award from last season.

Jamie Vardy (LEICESTER 3-1 Liverpool)

Jamie Vardy's double inspired Leicester to victory over Liverpool as the champions sparked into life following Claudio Ranieri's sacking. The England forward ended the Foxes' Premier League goal drought and secured a 3-1 win - their first since New Year's Eve - to lift the hosts out of the relegation zone, four days after the departure of title-winning manager Ranieri.

Vardy was back to last season's blistering form in front of watching England manager Gareth Southgate, scoring his first league goals since December 10. His first was trademark Vardy - and Leicester - and he added a second-half header, his celebrations both times showing his passion.
