Former England manager Roy Hodgson is on Crystal Palace's shortlist of potential replacements for Sam Allardyce.
The bookmakers' odds have fallen on Hodgson taking over from Allardyce, who dramatically quit Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.
Hodgson has been out of work since leaving the England manager's job after Euro 2016 but still lives in London.
Hodgson made it clear at the LMA awards on Monday night that he would be interested in a return to football if the right opportunity presents itself.
"I am not after a job but at the same time, I am not looking to turn down jobs," Hodgson told Sky Sports News HQ.
"I am in a happy situation that if one day someone comes to me and says 'we would like you to take on this job' and I like the idea of it, then I would be more than happy to do it."
The 69-year-old was born and grew up in Croydon - spending a season as a Palace player in the late 1960s.
He enjoyed spells in the Premier League with Blackburn, Fulham, Liverpool and West Brom before succeeding Fabio Capello as England manager in 2012.
Hodgson was interested in talking to Leicester City about their vacant manager's job in March following Claudio Ranieri's sacking, but the Foxes elected to finish out the season with Craig Shakespeare.
