NO WOLVES BID FOR MULLINS

EXCLUSIVE
HAYDEN MULLINS`S agent Andrew Mills has confirmed that his client was not the Crystal Palace player that Wolves made a £3 million bid for earlier this week.

Wolves manager Dave Jones refused to rule out the fact that he had made a £3 million bid for a Palace player, but insisted to planetfootball that he had not been in for Palace`s Clinton Morrison, as earlier reports had suggested.

As a result it was thought that Mullins would be the only other player at Selhurst Park to command such a fee, but Mills has revealed to planetfooball that it could not be his player.

"There is a clause in his contract at £3 million," said Mills. "They would have had to have notified me, which they didn't do.

"I have been with the chairman Simon Jordan recently and he is looking to take the club forward.

"They have had a bad season last year, but they are all forward thinking at the club an are looking to the positives rather than the negatives."
