CRYSTAL PALACE 3 WIMBLEDON 1

Wimbledon returned to their former home, but got little joy at the hands of a confident Crystal Palace in a 3-1 defeat.

Selhurst Park may is not longer home for The Dons, and they were made to feel uncomfortable by an Andy Johnson brace.

Johnson had opened the scoring on 32, heading home from a Danny Butterfield cross.

However, against the run of play Joel McAnuff levelled superbly from outside the box - rifling home from 25 yards.

However, Palace were not to be denied and Danny Granville restored the lead with a nice finish from 18 yards.

Johnson then wrapped up victory late in the game when he scored his second, and his side's third, with a volley from the edge of the area.
