Danny Butterfield has admitted he may have to leave Crystal Palace if he does not get a regular run in the side.The 25-year-old has recently been handed a run in the side due to a number of injuries.
However, the former Grimsby man fears he may have to depart Selhurst Park if he fails to hold down a place in Iain Dowie's plans.
"The game is all about opinions," said Butterfield to the South London Press.
"I believe I am good enough to be playing at Championship level week in, week out.
"But if the gaffer's opinion is that I will be dropped when people return from injury, then I know I will have to leave the club for the sake of my career.
"I'll have to wait and see what happens when everyone is back fit."
