Peter Taylor will not be looking to sell Crystal Palace players this summer.
Crystal Palace manager Peter Taylor has insisted he will not be looking to offload anymore of the club's best players this summer.
After Andy Johnson's £7.5 million move to Everton, midfielder Ben Watson has been linked with following him to The Premiership by joining Bolton.
Johnson's strike-partner at Selhurst Park, Clinton Morrison, has also reportedly been the centre of transfer talk, with West Brom rumoured to have offered £2 million for the player's services.
However, Taylor is adamant he wants to hold onto his best players to give The Eagles the best possible chance of a Premiership return next year.
"I'm not going to discuss speculation, but we are looking to keep all our best players," said Taylor.
"We are not in a position where we have to sell."
Meanwhile, the futures of Mikele Leigertwood and Tony Popovic should become clearer next week after Taylor has met with his staff to begin preparations for next season.
Both players are out of contract but may yet be offered new deals by the new boss.
