Stevenage boss Mark Stimson would let George Boyd move to the Football League.
New Stevenage Borough boss Mark Stimson has said that he will not stand in midfielder George Boyd's way, should a Football League side express an interest in the 20-year-old.
Championship side Crystal Palace are believed to be keen admirers of Boyd, who netted 12 times last season.
"This is the first I have heard of it," said Stimson, "although there could have been some interest in George last season, before I took over.
"Crystal Palace are a big club and I know [Palace boss] Peter Taylor, so if they were to do anything on that front, I'm sure they would go about it properly.
"George has the ability to play at a higher level, but we are desperate not to lose him, because he is a phenomenal talent."
