The in-demand England U21s star was subject to much speculation throughout the transfer window after he was spotted meeting several clubs' representatives over a possible move.
There was even talk of the Blackpool winger heading to the principality of Monaco on a permanent deal, but nothing ever materialised.
But after all the talk, Ince is very pleased he decided to ply his trade in south London.
"Crystal Palace is a great club and has a great fanbase. The way they play and the players they brought in suits me," Ince told TalkSport.
"Tony [Pulis] has come in and done a fantastic job and I'm just over the moon to be part of a team that is on the up at the moment."
Ince's future never looked simple, with several clubs seemingly set on securing his capture, before another expressed their interest.
The 22-year-old has moved to clarify his confusing situation, admitting Palace chairman Steve Parish swayed his decision.
"I went to Swansea and spoke to them, then I spoke to Steve Parish and then on the way back up north I spoke to Mark Hughes and Stoke," Ince added.
"The whole saga wasn't entirely true, I spoke to three clubs who I felt I would fit in well at and Crystal Palace were the one for me."
Ince's long-term future is yet to be resolved however, with his father Paul's departure from the Blackpool managerial post adding further uncertainty to the situation.
"I'm just going to work hard in training, fight for my place," Ince added.
"When the summer comes I'll sit down with my Dad and the people involved and see when we go from there."
