Murray ended almost a year of injury frustration by winning and then converting an 82nd-minute penalty at the Liberty Stadium.
"There's no other lad that deserves it more than him, for what he's done for this club, doing so well in the play-offs at Wembley and getting them to where they are," Ince said.
"He's had a bit of a rough time over the last year; he's not really back to full fitness. For him to score his first goal, we're over the moon for him. And we're going to need him to get some goals.
"We've got a good strikeforce - (Marouane) Chamakh, Cameron Jerome and Glenn Murray - so we've got options up there. It's great for Glenn. Hopefully he can continue that now."
Palace sit three points above the relegation zone and Ince says they must build on their performance against Swansea when Southampton visit Selhurst Park on Saturday.
"We've now got to win games that we know we can win," said the midfielder, who is on loan from Blackpool.
"We've got another tough game next weekend at home to Southampton. They're another strong team with fantastic players. If we can play like we did in the second-half today, then hopefully we can get three points.
"Ten, 11 games to go - it's getting tighter. You have to relish it, enjoy the moment and challenge yourself.
"There are eight or nine teams in it and we have to make sure we are not one of the bottom three at the end of the season."
