Newcastle returned to the top of the Championship with victory over Aston Villa on Monday night - and the Sky Sports Predictor expects the Magpies to go on to win the title.
Rafa Benitez's side are just one point ahead of second-placed Brighton but, despite that slender advantage, Newcastle have a 55 per cent chance of claiming the crown.
The Sky Sports Predictor - which uses an algorithm to rank results, previous performances and the difficulty of upcoming fixtures - rates Brighton's title chances at 42 per cent, with Huddersfield, who are four points behind the south coast club, seemingly out of the picture for first place (three per cent).
The Predictor also comes up with likelihoods for results between teams, and is tipping Brentford, Brighton, Cardiff, Leeds, Newcastle and Norwich.
