Mick McCarthy called Jordan Spence's red card for Ipswich a "moment of madness" in the defeat at Fulham.
Fulham were 1-0 down when they were given an advantage when Spence was red-carded with 54 minutes gone after barging into Kamara off the ball.
The incident changed the game as Fulham roared back to win 4-1.
McCarthy, whose side have now taken just one point from their last four matches, said: "The collapse didn't look like it would have happened with 11 men on the pitch.
"It's a sending off. It's a moment of madness that has cost us. That result would not have happened with 10 men.
"Jordan Spence has got to try and put a sturdy tackle on him and he's just got there late, he followed through."
