Both Brian Jensen and loan-star Dean Bowditch will stay at Burnley.Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has been handed a double boost with both Brian Jensen and loan-star Dean Bowditch extending their stays at the club.
Jensen has been in scintillating form since an injury forced Wales international Danny Coyne out of the side.
The Danish custodian was key to Burnley's impressive cup runs and, even though Coyne is fit again, has kept himself firmly in Cotterill's plans.
Burnley fans immediately took to Jensen - nicknamed Beast - and will be delighted that the 29-year-old has extended his stay at the club for another three years rather than leaving when his former deal ran out in the summer.
"We're delighted with the news," Cotterill told the club's official website.
"He has worked very hard this season and I think he has reformed his reputation.
"I think he's a great lad too and a good character to have in the dressing room.
"He always has a funny line and is popular not just with his team-mates, but with the supporters too."
Bowditch has been at the club on a month's loan from Ipswich but has now extended his stay for the rest of the season.
The promising young striker has impressed in his spell so far and scored his first goal for The Clarets against Watford on Saturday.
Ipswich have no intention of selling the forward, but Burnley will be able to count on his services until the summer.
