Ipswich Town have handed a trial to Dutch striker Iwan Redan.Ipswich Town have handed a trial to Dutch striker Iwan Redan.
Portman Road chief Joe Royle is eager to bring in fresh blood in the January transfer window, with a striker his primary target after losing Sam Parkin to long term injury.
Royle jetted over to Holland last week to scour the market and he has been given permission to hand a trial to Redan.
Redan is available for transfer from Willem II and is eager to head out of the club in January.
The 25-year-old, who numbers RBC Roosendaal, RKC Waalwijk and Roda JC among his former clubs, had a trial with Sheffield Wednesday in the autumn but failed to earn a move to Hillsborough.
Redan has been joined at the club on trial by French defender Delis Ahou who has been given a week to impress Royle.
