Ipswich striker Dean Bowditch is seeking clarification regarding his first-team status.Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch is seeking clarification regarding his first-team status at Portman Road.
The 19-year-old, who is yet to score this season, is unhappy being consistently in and out of Joe Royle's side.
Bowditch was delighted to start against Sheffield Wednesday, but was left frustrated at being omitted for the 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.
The Hertfordshire-born forward, who spent time with Burnley last season, is now set for showdown talks with Royle.
"From starting the previous game at Sheffield Wednesday to not even being on the bench against Crystal Palace makes it difficult for me to know where I stand," said Bowditch.
"The manager has said that he wants to have a chat - and I feel that we need that. I work hard and only want to do well for Ipswich Town.
"In the past it has been suggested that I have an attitude problem. Maybe certain people still believe that - but I totally disagree.
"Here's hoping that I will get a look-in during the remaining holiday period matches."
