Ipswich Town starlet Owen Garvan admits he is aware of transfer speculation.
Ipswich Town starlet Owen Garvan admits he is aware of speculation linking a host of Premiership clubs with his services.
The Republic of Ireland teenager is tipped to have a huge future in the game but is happy to let his football do the talking at Portman Road.
Although the 18-year-old midfielder has ambitions to play at the highest level, he feels can achieve that goal with Joe Royle's men.
"I want to win things, get my hands on some silverware, and I would love to do it with Ipswich," he said.
"I read the papers and I'm aware of the speculation linking me with other clubs.
"But, at the moment, I am just looking to do well with Ipswich and that means getting into The Premiership as soon as possible."
Garvan is frustrated that he has not made an even bigger impact with the Suffolk side this term.
"It has been a big season for me - I have made my debut and kept my place in the team but, while I have enjoyed my football, it is disappointing that we haven't done better," he added.
"If I'm honest, I'm frustrated that I have not made more appearances. I want to play every single game, but at least, being young, I suppose I still have several seasons ahead of me."
