Danny Coyne is hopeful of being named as Wales keeper against England.Danny Coyne is hopeful of being named as Wales keeper for the crunch match against England on Saturday.
The Burnley keeper could be set to take advantage of the poor form of normal first choice Paul Jones by being given the nod by Wales manager Mark Hughes.
Coyne has been in superb form since moving to Burnley, becoming a firm fans' favourite and playing a huge part in making The Clarets' rearguard the most stingy defence in The Championship.
"I'm fully fit and waiting and hoping for the call," Coyne told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"I would love to play in the game, but that's in someone else's hands - the Blackburn Rovers manager as it happens!
"People are spinning the line that I'm the only goalkeeper in the squad playing regular first team football at the minute.
"That's just the way things have fallen into place, but Paul Jones has been the number one for a long time now and Mark Hughes has obviously got his team in his mind
"All I can do is wait and see what he decides."
