LUND FEARS PLAYING DAYS ARE OVER

WIMBLEDON striker Andreas Lund fears his career could be over as he struggles to recover from a serious knee injury.

The Norwegian ace tore ligaments in his knee during pre-season training in 2000, but he has still not recovered from the problem despite undergoing surgery.

"The situation is exactly the same as it was last autumn," he said.

"I'm still working at the same tiring weight-training, trying to do all I can to build up the knee slowly but surely. I don't know if it's going to get better though."

Meanwhile, Dons striker David Nielsen is poised to complete a move to First Division rivals Norwich City.

The two sides have agreed a fee for The Dane, who has netted five goals in five games during a highly successful loan spell, but he is still in talks over personal terms.
