Jarvis pens Norwich deal

NORWICH CITY starlet Ryan Jarvis has pledged his future to the club by signing a three-year contract.

It is the first professional contract for Jarvis, who made his debut for Norwich last season aged just 16.

Now at 17, he has put pen-to-paper on a long-term deal with The Canaries.

"I am delighted to sign for Norwich and excited to be taking part this season," said Jarvis.

"I am looking to improve as a player under the manager's guidance."

City boss Nigel Worthingston (pictured) was delighted to have sealed Jarvis's future.

"I am delighted to get Ryan on a long-term professional contract," he said.

"He is one for the future of the football Club.

"Everyone, not least Ryan himself, has worked hard to get Ryan where he is now.

"But now the hard work starts in earnest."
