Gary Doherty's headed goal completed Norwich's comeback as they beat Hull 2-1 at Carrow Road.Norwich, who were beaten at home by Reading at the weekend, fell behind to Leon Cort's early goal, but Youssef Safri quickly levelled before Doherty scored the winner before half time.
Hull were 2-0 winners at Coventry on Saturday and they made a flying start as they took the lead after just two minutes.
Midfielder Curtis Woodhouse sent over a free kick from the left and Cort looped a header over Robert Green and into the far corner from 15 yards.
Norwich responded well and Darren Huckerby, back in the starting line-up after a minor injury, set up a good chance for Paul McVeigh, who shot wide.
But they did not have to wait long for an equaliser as Safri, who was not closed down outside the penalty area, fired into the bottom left corner in the 15th minute.
Safri and Huckerby then teed up Adam Drury, who drove a left-foot shot just wide of Boaz Myhill's goal before Myhill's poor clearance struck Dean Ashton and went narrowly past the post.
Six minutes before half time, Norwich grabbed the lead they deserved when Dean Marney's cross found Doherty unmarked and he headed powerfully in.
Marney shot weakly at Myhill after being played in by Safri before Kevin Lisbie, on at half time for Ashton who was feeling the effects of the clash of heads which left him with concussion on Saturday, shot straight at the Hull keeper.
Stuart Elliott forced Green into a smart save but Hull failed to mount a late rally, and Norwich could have added to their lead through Lisbie, who dragged a shot into the side-netting.
