St Mirren have stated it will take a 'big' fee to sell Simon Lappin.
St Mirren chairman Stewart Gilmour has stated it will take a 'big' fee to prise Simon Lappin from their grasp.
The midfielder has reportedly come under the watchful gaze of Norwich City boss Peter Grant (pictured).
However, St Mirren's healthy financial position means the club have no desire to sell in order to fund new arrivals.
"We're trying to get players into the club, not move them out," explained Gilmour.
"The club is in the kind of healthy financial position where we could afford to turn down money for any of our players.
"We've got plenty of money and it would require a big transfer fee before we'd be tempted to let Lappin break his contract."
