Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet is battling hard to keep Elliott Bennett out of the clutches of Norwich City.
The Canaries have made a formal approach for Albion's in-form winger but chairman Tony Bloom this week insisted he is not for sale. Poyet said: "We are trying hard to make sure Elliott stays here and we are fighting hard, so we hope he will be here. "There has been contact and phone calls going on but we are trying to maintain what the chairman said, so the situation is still the same."
