Luton and Notts County remain locked together at the top of League Two after a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road.
The two teams went into the match level on 41 points and ended it one better off, with Johnny Mullins opening the scoring in the 26th minute and Shola Ameobi levelling after 61 minutes.
Accrington stay third, despite their match against Swindon falling foul of the wintry weather, because Exeter suffered a 3-1 defeat against Colchester.
The hosts were three up in half-an-hour through Troy Archibald-Henville's own goal and Sammie Szmodics' brace. Jayden Stockley pulled one back in the second half but Exeter did not really threaten a comeback.
There was a huge match at the bottom of the table between Chesterfield and Barnet and it had a dramatic ending as birthday boy Robbie Weir scored the winner for the Spireites deep into injury time.
Mitch Rose scored the winner for Grimsby in their 1-0 victory over 10-man Forest Green Rovers, who had Jack Fitzwater sent off in the first half.
