Midfielder delighted to be back at Elland Road

Danny Pugh is planning to attend to some unfinished business after securing a return to Leeds. The Stoke midfielder linked up with the Whites last week and went straight into their side for Friday's 3-3 draw at Brighton. He returns to Elland Road five years after bringing the curtain down on a previous spell with the Whites. It has been suggested that Simon Grayson will attempt to make Pugh's loan switch permanent when the transfer window re-opens in January. The 28-year-old is refusing to speculate on his future for now, but admits he is delighted to be back in familiar surroundings.

Memories

"Yes, definitely," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post when asked if he had unfinished business with the Championship club. "I had two great years here and some fantastic memories. I've no bad memories and it's nice to be back. I'm looking forward to my home debut now. "Personally, I just want to get a run of games in, get my sharpness back and then take things from there in the longer term. "I think a couple of other Championship clubs were involved (in trying to sign him) but once Leeds were interested this was always the place I wanted to come to. "I love it here, I really enjoyed myself first time around and it was a no-brainer to come back."
