Forrester, 25, is one of the division`s hottest stikers having scored 18 goals this season and was the subject of a bid from Bristol Rovers earlier in the season and now Millwall look set to make an offer on Thursday.
Lions supremo Mark McGhee is looking to bolster his side, who are currently top of Division Two, and it is already believed that the South London club have made a £350,000 offer.
This was rejected, but a bid of £400,000 is expected and Forrester, along with his team-mates Hope and Howard, could be set to leave The Sixfields.
22-year-old Hope has been one of the highlights of Northampton`s season so far, but he is out-of-contract in the summer and Wimbledon and Queens Park Rangers have both shown a strong interest which could result in a deadline day bid.
Howard is the target of Joe Kinnear at Luton Town, and the former Hartlepool striker is said to be one of the preffered options for the ex-Wimbledon chief, who is scouring the country for a new striker.
The 24-year-old, who is also out-of-contract in June, fits the criteria for Kinnear, who has stated recently that he was looking for a forward in John Fashanu`s mold, which Howard is.
So it seems that Cobblers` boss Kevin Wilson will be preparing himself for a host of bids on Thursday, but he will be hoping to fend off interest for Hope and Howard by handing them new contracts before the deadline.
