Simon Royce has signed for Queens Park Rangers.
Queens Park Rangers have made their fourth new signing of the summer, after confirming the signature of goalkeeper Simon Royce.
Royce has joined Rangers on a two-year deal after his contract at Charlton expired at the end of the 2004/05 season.
The 33-year-old enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Loftus Road towards the end of last season, keeping six clean sheets in 13 appearances. Royce is now keen to maintain that form and his place in the Rangers side, after spending a large part of his Charlton career on the bench.
And Royce's arrival was coupled with the extension of his number two's contract, as Jake Cole put pen-to-paper on a deal that keeps him at the club until 2008.
20-year-old Cole was happy to extend his time at his boyhood club, as he initially joined them as a ten year-old child.
