Tommy Larsen says he would have joined QPR if Tore Andre Flo had moved as well.Norway international Tommy Larsen has heightened QPR's disappointment at missing out on Tore Andre Flo by claiming he would have followed his national team-mate to Loftus Road.
Ian Holloway's side failed to land the Chelsea man as he opted to return to Norway to join Valerenga, and Larsen has now joined his compatriot in deciding against a move to the Championship outfit.
The 31-year-old has sealed a switch to Odd Grenland after deciding to end his spell at Nurnberg, signing a three-and-a-half year deal with the Skien club after also rejecting a further English outfit.
Larsen admitted that a move to Rangers was an appealing prospect until Flo spurned their advances, and revealed he felt he had to leave Germany to stop his career stagnating.
"I could have ended up at QPR with Tore Andre Flo," Larsen told NTB.
"But when he rejected it, it did not happen. QPR would have been an exciting challenge.
"I would have said yes if Tore Andre had gone there, but now I look forward to helping Odd.
"I was feeling that I was not improving at Nurnberg."
