Swansea City have handed trials to Kevin Sandwith and James Constable.League One pacesetters Swansea City have handed trials to Kevin Sandwith and non-league starlet James Constable.
Macclesfield defender Sandwith has failed to find his feet in the North West since a summer switch from Lincoln and has been placed on the transfer list by Brian Horton.
Swans chief Kenny Jackett will run the rule over the stopper in the next few days, whilst also taking a look at Chippenham Town striker Constable.
The promising young hit-man is rated as one of the hottest properties outside of the Football League, with Championship outfits Reading and Norwich reportedly having had the player watched.
It is believed that Swindon offered the player a deal earlier in the season but he has decided to keep his options open for the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile, Queens Park Rangers midfielder Marcus Bean has returned to his parent club after a two-month loan spell with The Swans.
