Former Crewe Alexandra defender Anthony Tonkin is training with Queens Park Rangers.
Tonkin was released by Crewe at the end of last season and had attracted the interest of League One side Yeovil Town.
But he is hoping to remain in The Championship, following Crewe's relegation, and is now on trial at Loftus Road.
During three years at Gresty Road, the full back made 93 appearances and will hope to impress R's boss Gary Waddock.
The QPR chief is also putting Polish striker Adam Czerkas and Congo forward Betu Tshamanga through their paces in pre-season.
