Pre-season friendly: QPR beaten by Clint Hill's own goal in 1-0 defeat to POAK

Queens Park Rangers ended their pre-season schedule with a 1-0 home defeat to Greek side PAOK.
An unfortunate own-goal from substitute Clint Hill was enough to give the visitors victory in a game that saw new signings Rio Ferdinand, Steven Caulker and Jordan Mutch make their debuts.
Hill turned into his own net after an hour of play with Rangers bereft of ideas about how to create chances for most of the match.
PAOK had looked the more likely team to score and should have gone ahead when Stefanos Athanasiadas hit the post from close range following a good save from keeper Rob Green.
But Rangers improved after they conceded, with Karl Henry and Charlie Austin going close in quick succession before Austin missed with another late header.
Nedum Ohuoha, Bobby Zamora and Matty Phillips also got second-half run-outs along with Hill, who had not been on the pitch 10 minutes before he put Facundo Pereyra’s cross into his own net.
QPR open their Premier League season against Hull City at Loftus Road on Saturday August 18.
