Leicester defender Christian Fuchs has quit international football in the wake of Austria's Euro 2016 exit.
The left-back captained his country in all three group games in France as two defeats and a draw saw them eliminated before the knockout.
Austria's last-minute defeat to Iceland sealed their exit and Fuchs, who won 78 caps, said: "The game against Iceland was my last in red-white-red.
"I am very proud of the 10 years that I have spent with the national team. I did everything with passion and, as I said, I am very, very proud."
Fuchs joined Leicester from German club Schalke last summer and was a regular in the side that stunned football and defied 5,000-1 odds to win the Premier League title.
The 30-year-old's decision to retire from internationals comes a decade after his debut against Croatia and four years after he was given the captaincy.
