Rab Douglas cannot wait to start playing for Leicester City.Rab Douglas cannot wait to start playing for Leicester City, after quitting Celtic in the summer to feature in The Championship.
The Scottish keeper could have earned more money with The Bhoys, but the 33-year-old wanted first-team football and is happy to have linked up with The Foxes.
"It's not about money, it's about playing and enjoying yourself," said Douglas to Sky Sports News.
"Obviously Celtic are a massive club, but it was a great challenge to come down here.
"There is a great set-up here. The people are very friendly and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it."
Douglas still harbours ambitions to play for his country, although he concedes it will take a big effort to displace Craig Gordon between the sticks.
"Hopefully Walter [Smith] still wants me for Scotland, but if I play regularly and doing reasonably well I won't be far away from a call-up," he added.
"I've always said Craig's done well in the last two games. Craig's probably in pole position, but it's up to Scotland to decide. It's great to be involved with your country."
