Leicester City have handed a new contract to Richard Stearman.The 18-year-old defender still had two years left on his current deal at The Walkers Stadium, but he has impressed enough to earn a fresh extension.
Stearman is a product of The Foxes' own academy and he has already featured 18 times for the club.
He has now been handed a three-and-a-half year deal which will see him tied to Leicester until 2009.
