Matt Fryatt is keen to help fire Leicester City away from the Championship drop zone.Matt Fryatt is keen to help fire Leicester City away from the Championship drop zone, starting with Tuesday's clash with Plymouth.
The Foxes currently sit third from bottom in the table following a 2-1 home defeat to Cardiff City at the weekend.
Fryatt, a January capture from Walsall, opened his account against The Bluebirds and knows he must keep firing in the goals.
"It's always nice to get your first goal, especially in front your own fans," said Fryatt.
"It takes off the pressure and eases you into it and shows what you are about, so hopefully I can add a few more.
"There was a bit of pressure put on me, but I need to score a few more goals and the lift the team up the league and hopefully I can do that."
Leicester boss Craig Levein is under tremendous pressure at The Walkers Stadium, although the Scottish tactician believes he has the quality to turn things around.
"Whether we've walked under a lot of ladders or broken some mirrors I don't know, but it has been disappointing for us," said Levein.
"But we've proved to be a resilient bunch of players and we'll be up for the game against Plymouth.
"I believe wholeheartedly in what we're doing here and I see a lot of signs of things progressing in the right direction."
