Foxes dealt midfielder blow

James Wesolowski will miss the rest of the season after breaking his leg against Brighton.

Leicester's caretaker manager Rob Kelly has revealed his disappointment at the news midfielder James Wesolowski will miss the rest of the season with a broken leg.

Wesolowski sustained the break during his side's 2-1 win at Brighton on Saturday to curtail his debut season in the Foxes first team.

The unfortunate 18-year-old, who has started the last three matches, has impressed after battling back from a similar injury sustained during pre-season and Kelly believes the player's determination to bounce back will stand him in good stead once again.

"It's a real disappointment for everyone. James has done fantastically well to break through to the first team this season and he has been a real breath of fresh air for us," Kelly told the club's official website.

"But he is in great hands here and I have no doubt in my mind that he will come back from this. He has got a great mentality and attitude for a young player."
