Forward wants squad to become a team

Paul Gallagher wants Leicester City to become a team rather than being a group of talented individuals. The 27-year-old scored twice in the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday - giving Nigel Pearson a perfect start to his second spell as the Foxes boss. Gallagher feels that the team are capable of winning promotion to the Premier League this season, but wants them to gel better. He told the club's official website: "We have a big squad with a lot of good players but you can have as many good players as you want. At the end of the day you have to be a good team." The forward was also delighted to have Pearson back in the dugout. He added: "It has been fantastic having the manager back. We were disappointed when he left, but he is back now and everyone is thriving. We want to do well for him, for the club and for the owners."
