Notts County manager Keith Curle would like to sign veteran Leicester striker Steve Howard for next season.
Howard will be a free agent this summer when his contract at Leicester expires and Curle is eager to hold talks with the 36-year-old about a move to Meadow Lane for next season. "I've not had the opportunity to meet Stevie yet. I would like to speak to him though to find out if our paths could cross," Curle told the Nottingham Post. "If we get the opportunity to sit down together I will try to sell him my vision for the future of this club and see if that ties in with his ambitions." Howard has already enjoyed success at two clubs in the East Midlands. After joining Derby in a £1million deal, he helped fire them into the Premier League in 2007 and then, after a £1.5million switch to Leicester, won the League One title with the Foxes three years ago.
