Jeffrey Schlupp and Liam Moore have signed new deals with Premier League newcomers Leicester City.

Schlupp, who finished City's Championship-winning season strongly at left-back, and fellow academy product Moore, who enjoyed a breakthrough season at the heart of defence, have both been handed fresh three-year contracts to keep them at the club until 2017.

They join Wes Morgan, Kasper Schmeichel, David Nugent, Danny Drinkwater and Matty James in committing to Nigel Pearson's side ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.

“I’m delighted to sign a three-year deal with Leicester City," Schlupp told the Foxes' official website. "I’ve been at the club since I was 11 so to be able to say I’m staying for at least another three years is fantastic.

“I’m just so happy to be a part of it. I’m Leicester through and through and now I can’t wait to try and show what I can do in the Premier League."

Moore, a boyhood Leicester fan who made 33 appearances last term, said: "It feels absolutely brilliant to sign my contract. It’s great to get it done and commit my future to this great club.

“To sign a long-term contract with a club that’s heading into the Premier League is massive and it shows how much confidence the manager has in me.

"This is my hometown club and I made it clear that I wanted to stay at Leicester City from the word go. I’ve been here since I was eight. To sign a new contract that will take me to 17 years as a Leicester City player is a dream come true.”
