Charlie Nicholas provides us with his FA Cup third-round replay predictions for Wednesday, tipping Liverpool and Newcastle to suffer upsets.

He was right about Ipswich on Tuesday as they fell at Lincoln City, and another three replays will be played on Wednesday, including Jurgen Klopp's side heading south to face Plymouth Argyle after failing to get the job done at Anfield.

Here's what Charlie Nicholas is predicting...

Plymouth v Liverpool (7.45pm)

I honestly do think Plymouth can cause an upset here. They were in good form at the weekend, putting four past a Stevenage side which have been fairly handy on the road this season.

I think Klopp will make loads of changes again to his tired-looking side. Liverpool are in need of a rest and I think he'll prioritise the EFL Cup and play a similar side to the one which failed to get the job done at home.

Charlie predicts: 2-1 (28/1 with Sky Bet)

Newcastle v Birmingham (7.45pm)

Newcastle have got a lot of players out but Birmingham can't get a win under Gianfranco Zola. I see this being really tight and I can see it going the distance.

Southampton v Norwich (7.45pm)

I'll be keeping an eye on this one, with Arsenal awaiting. Norwich will play a strong side with Alex Neil fighting for his job and Southampton will make a few changes. I can see this going the distance as well and it might take a bit of quality from the Saints bench to send them through.

Charlie predicts: Southampton to qualify in extra-time (10/1 with Sky Bet)

Charlie's earlier predictions...

Lincoln City v Ipswich

I really do see this as a potential upset. Ipswich have been struggling and it sounded like Lincoln should have got the job done the first time round.

I really liked the feature on Soccer Saturday about the two brothers in charge there and they recorded another good result at the weekend.

I’m expecting this one to go the distance and I fancy Lincoln, with the extra motivation to get the job done, to cause an upset in extra-time.

Charlie predicted: Lincoln to qualify in extra-time - RESULT: 1-0

AFC Wimbledon v Sutton

Playing at home was obviously a big leveller for Sutton, who will be looking to remain the lowest-ranked side in the draw, but Wimbledon should have enough with home advantage on their side this time.

Charlie predicted: 3-0 - RESULT: 1-3

Barnsley v Blackpool

Blackpool are really struggling and Barnsley, who tend to get goals at home, should have a comfortable night and I’d make this my banker of the replays.

Charlie predicted: 3-0 - RESULT: 1-2

Burnley v Sunderland

The game which neither of them want. You have to go with Burnley at home right now and I think Sean Dyche will make fewer changes.

Charlie predicted: 2-0 - RESULT: 2-0

Fleetwood v Bristol City

I like Fleetwood, they're a decent side and have been very hard to beat at home this season. I definitely fancy both teams to score and can see the Cod Army completing the Bristol double, having also beaten Rovers at the weekend.

Charlie predicted: 3-2 - RESULT: 0-1

Crystal Palace v Bolton

Palace have to win to build some momentum and I think they will get a comfortable victory, even though you'd expect Sam Allardyce to make a few changes again.

Charlie predicted: 3-0 - RESULT: 2-1
